Warmly spiced and irresistibly chewy, these paleo maple spiced blondies capture all the cozy flavors of the holidays without refined sugar or grains. Made with wholesome ingredients and a rich spice blend sweetened naturally with maple syrup, they’re the perfect treat for festive gatherings.
Ingredients:
Dry:
- 3/4 cup Bob's Red Mill Super-Fine Natural Almond Flour
- 3/4 cup Madhava Organic Coconut Sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp Simply Organic Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Simply Organic Ground Ginger Root
- 1/2 tsp Simply Organic Ground Cloves
- 1/2 tsp Simply Organic Ground Nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp Bob's Red Mill Baking Soda
- 1/8 tsp Celtic Sea Salt
Wet:
- 1/2 cup Once Again Creamy Almond Butter
- 1 tbsp NOW Foods Maple Syrup, Organic Grade A Dark Color
- 1 Egg
- 2 tsp Cadia Organic Pure Vanilla Extract
- 2 tbsp Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and place parchment paper in a glass 8x8 baking dish.
- Add all of the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl and whisk until combined.
- Add in the wet ingredients. Stir until combined. The batter will be very thick.
- Add the mixture to the baking dish and smooth the mixture until it's flat in the dish.
- Bake for 23-28 minutes. The less time in the oven, the more fudgy the blondies will be!
- Let the blondies cool in the pan.
- For added sweetness, blend 2 tsp of coconut sugar in a blender or food processor until it turns into a powdered form. Sprinkle on top of the cooled blondies and enjoy!
